Connecting Through Books

Sometimes a good book is all a child needs to ease their stress in a difficult situation.

Brant Richardson created Books + Badges to do just this. He organizes bins of new books at all reading levels and distributes them to police officers to keep in their patrol cars.  When the police officers are on a call and kids are present, they can offer a book from Books + Badges to ease their stress. 

It's a simple but very important mission... give every child the joy of reading and owning a book! Through the community connection of the police, we connect children in need with the books they deserve.
